Hello and welcome to the Dean's List. Instructions for posting are at the bottom of this page.
Have you tried the B-Cyclesyet? Despite the fanatical accusations by Dan Maes, I have to say they are a really cool idea! I had family in town last weekend and wanted to show off the Cherry Creek Bike path to Confluence Park, so we decided to try out the bikes. They are incredibly easy to rent, and at $5 a day ($65 for a year membership) you can't beat the price! One hint someone gave me -- be sure to park them at other B-Cycle stations throughout your day, or you could be charged extra. This is to avoid people taking the bikes home which would mean less were available to the public. We ran into the problem of only one station being open at REI so we couldn't lock up our bikes -- you might want to take along your own bike lock just in case this happens, because they do not include a lock! My only hope is that they will put a station closer to where I live -- the closest station still required us to drive. (Did you hear that, B-Cycle folks? Broadway/Alameda would be a great spot for a B-Cycle station!!)
A little history on how The Dean's List began. After reading The Tipping Point, I realized this strange need I had to help people find jobs, places to live and meet other people actually has a name -- I'm a "connector." I love to network, and I love helping others.

My love for connecting is what started my large email list. People would send me things they wanted to promote, and I would forward them along to my network. After awhile it became a bit too much, as I would forward several emails each week, and often several each day. I finally decided to get organized and started my weekly email newsletter. Now, it's even better -- no more waiting two weeks for a new list. The list will be constantly updated with new postings! My only request is that you post your own ads now -- it is definitely a time saver for me.

Thanks again for visiting, and I hope my list has helped you in some way!

Cheers,

Laura Dean

Hello and welcome to the Dean's List. Instructions for posting are at the bottom of this page.
Have you bought the Kindle yet? I really am interested in buying it, but wanted to hear some feedback from people. I saw that it's now available for $189, and the more advanced version is $359. Is it really worth it to splurge for the newer version? Is the Nook (or any other versions) comparable? Please, let me know your thoughts!! A little history on how The Dean's List began.
